Depending on the material \u2013 whether <strong>carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium<\/strong> \u2013 we use the appropriate blasting medium: <strong>fossil grit for sensitive metals<\/strong> and <strong>steel grit for robust steel surfaces<\/strong>. The <strong>interior is blasted to surface preparation grade SA 2.5<\/strong> (also known as internal grit blasting), removing old coatings, scale and corrosion thoroughly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After blasting, the <strong>exterior of both tank and frame is coated with a full Hempel coating system<\/strong>, selected based on the intended use and environmental conditions. Damaged frames are repaired, old coatings are removed by blasting, and the structure is recoated with a protective system. When necessary, wooden floors are replaced, and updated lettering is applied. containers and silos, we also preserve <strong>individual steel components<\/strong>, such as <strong>crane parts, booms, and structural elements<\/strong>. Upon arrival, each item is carefully inspected and, if necessary, mechanically or manually repaired. We then proceed with blasting to remove contaminants, corrosion, and old coatings, achieving the required <strong>surface preparation grade according to ISO 8501-1<\/strong>, based on the intended application and client specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After blasting, a tailored coating system is applied, selected for the environmental conditions the component will face \u2013 whether industrial, maritime, or offshore.
