Vacancy Technical Sales Representative – Mechanical Engineer
The Job!
Executing the commercial strategy when it comes to sales, technical consultancy, calculations and digitisation of the sales process.
Company
We are an international container company that delivers custom containers to B2B customers. On top of that, we have access to a blast cleaning workshop and a spraying workshop. We are currently working hard on plans for a new spraying workshop and are aiming to expand our family business.
What responsibilities will you have?
- Providing technical quotes to B2B customers.
- Offering technical advice to customers and partners.
- Responsible for project profitability through price setting and accurate prior and subsequent calculations.
- Responsible for the digitisation of the sales process.
- Customer acquisition
- Assisting in the supervision of the digitisation of the entire sales process, including the prior and subsequent calculations.
- Landing profitable assignments and communicating these to the rest of the organisation.
- Providing a clear schedule for these assignments to the responsible operational manager.
- Responsible for requesting customer-specific supplier purchasing quotes for prior calculations.
- Responsible for the customer’s written acceptance of the quote.
- Responsible for the customer’s written acceptance of additional activities and corresponding additional charges.
- Responsible for the pricing policy for the services.
- Following up on payments for services provided.
- Providing KPIs at the start of each quarter.
- Assisting the team in the realisation of the swimming pool container sales process.
What do we expect from you?
- HBO-level qualifications and abilities
- Degree: mechanical engineering
- Experience in the metal sector.
- Experience with CRM systems / digital calculation systems.
- Well-developed commercial skills
- Customer-focussed attitude
- Persuasiveness, negotiation skills and a result-oriented attitude
- The capacity to multitask and prioritise when it comes to projects.
- Experience with Office packages
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Accurate and flexible attitude when it comes to your activities
- Confidentiality when it comes to the information you receive

What are you going to do?
- Placing letters / stickers on containers
- Cleaning containers
- Rubbering containers (removing and attaching door rubbers)
Note: When placing letters on silos, you’ll be on top of the silo with a safety harness. This is not a suitable job for people with a fear of heights.

- This is a vacancy to replace an employee who is about to retire.

Job description: Industrial Spraying / Blast Cleaning Employee
We are looking for an industrial spraying employee:
- Process: HPLV, airless
- Spraying 2-component coating.
- Various activities: masking, blasting steel, spraying.
- Blasting and spraying containers and heavy constructions.
- Note: No car spraying, no glass bead blasting, no powder coating.
- In addition to spraying work, we also have access to a blast cleaning workshop. Normally, the spraying and blasting employees alternate their activities.
- No routine jobs, but varied activities.
Degrees:
- SCC certificate
- Forklift certificate (if possible, otherwise, you should be willing to get one).

Job description Construction Fitter:
Job:
- Repairing various container parts.
For example: replacing container side panels, applying patches, welding floors
Requirements:
- Experience as a construction fitter.
You need to be able to work independently, sosome experience in the metal sector is required. - Welding process: MAG welding. (level 2)
- Experience with cutting, burning and drilling.
- Experience with welding of old materials. You need to be able to WELD.
- Note: 70% of the job entails fitting work. This means you won’t be welding all day.
Degrees:
- SCC certificate
- Forklift certificate (if possible, otherwise, you should be willing to get one).
General:
